Volunteer Nit Picker Finds Better Solution for Head Lice Managing Lice Clinics of America’s Bucks County Clinic

Clinic provides guaranteed, one-and-done lice treatments using FDA-cleared medical device.

Doylestown, Pennsylvania

A mom who spent weeks each year picking lice and eggs out of her child’s hair became so good at it that she became a go-to resource for friends and family, but everything changed when Lori Schleinkofer discovered Lice Clinics of America and the AirAllé medical device.

Lori now manages Lice Clinics of America – Bucks County, providing screening, diagnosis, and treatment for people infested with head lice using the AirAllé device. It kills head lice and lice eggs using controlled heated air.

“I spent a lot of time helping family, friends, and neighbors and I enjoyed the fact that I was able to help,” Lori said. “I learned about the AirAlle device when I came across the job posting for a technician position.”

Most treatments using the AirAllé take about an hour, and the treatment is guaranteed to be effective. The AirAllé has successfully treated more than 850,000 cases of head lice worldwide.

“I have treated many families that have come into our clinic in tears because of the embarrassment of having lice,” Lori said. “It is a relief to know that this treatment exists and the long hours of combing day after day and week after week is no longer necessary.”

The Bucks County clinic is located at 275 S. Main Street, Suite 9, in Doylestown, and is open seven days per week by appointment.
